Bathroom mirror is unlike to other mirrors,it is usually frameless.Frameless mirrors do not come with hooks for other hanging apparatus,so it is difficult to mount on the wall, the larger the mirror the more difficult it is to hang on.Therefore,if you want to glue a mirror to your bathroom and make sure it is level and that you do not create a mess, here are 6 steps you can follow:
Step1:The things you need to be prepared are Mirror,Level,Piece of wood,Strong adhesive tape,Measuring tape,Mirror adhesive,Caulk gun,Pencil and Masking tape.
Step2:Confirm the Location before you apply glue to your mirror.Be sure of the mirror will fit and its location is where you'll want it to be for some time.Once the glue has dried and hardened before moving the mirror to another location.
Step3:Mark the Mirror's Location on the Wall to place a board against the wall just below it.And the board should be long enough that its top edge will support the mirror when it's in position on the wall.Place two or three strips of masking tape across the board with the tape ends stuck to the wall to hold the board into place.Place the lower edge of the mirror on the board at a location you've chosen for the mirror.Ask someone to hold the mirror in place while you check it with a level to ensure that the mirror will be level and plumb when it is glued to its place on the wall
Step4:Apply glue to the mirror to keep glue from oozing out from the back of the mirror and making a mess on the wall when it is pressed against the wall, and the glue on the mirror back should be at least an inch in from the mirror's outer edge.Run a bead of glue all the way around the mirror, along with two or three beads in its middle. This should be enough glue to hold the mirror to the wall when the glue has hardened.
Step5:Being careful to keep the mirror with it's applied glue from touching the wall to fix the mirror to the wall, hold the mirror in place just over the pencil lines you made on the wall. When the mirror is in place with the penciled lines inside the edges of the mirror and the bottom mirror edge low enough that it will rest on the board, press the mirror against the wall with its bottom edge resting on the top edge of the board.
Step6:Wait for the glue to dry and use masking tape strips to hold the mirror in place while it dries. After 24 hours, the glue should be set,and you can remove the board and the masking tape strips.
